ABOUT
Moira Lo Bianco is a composer, pianist, and healing arts practitioner whose work bridges sound and holistic wellness.
Her career began in concert music, where she developed a multifaceted compositional voice. Trained in both classical and contemporary styles, Moira’s music weaves together notation and improvisation—reviving the role of improvisation within classical music.
She has performed at venues such as the Newport Jazz Festival, Carnegie Hall, Villa Celimontana Festival, and the DiMenna Center for Classical Music.
She released several albums, and often engaged in interdisciplinary collaborations with artists across a range of media and musical genres.
Her projects spanned chamber works, multimedia installations, and sound-based performance art, reflecting her curiosity about how sound interacted with space, movement, and visual form.
Her collaborations with dance deepened her exploration of the relationship between sound and movement. She worked with prominent dance companies and schools, including Boston Ballet, Martha Graham Dance, Pascal Rioult Dance.
Over time, Moira’s artistic inquiry expanded beyond performance and composition to explore sound as a tool for self-regulation and healing.
Integrating her studies in sound therapy, mindfulness, somatic healing, and trauma-informed care, she founded Íntegro Sonoro—a platform dedicated to bridging the performing and healing arts.
Through sound therapy releases, certificate trainings, workshops, and community programs, Íntegro Sonoro brings sound and somatic healing practices into educational, clinical, and public settings, emphasizing accessibility, inclusion, and the power of deep listening as pathways to wholeness.
Moira is a Steinway Artist and Steinway Educational Partner, an Associate Professor at Berklee College of Music, an Advisory Board member of the Bioregulatory Medicine Institute (BRMI), and a member of the International Association for Music and Medicine (IAMM).
